Consignment Policies and Information

How consignment with LeBoutique works:

  • Our consignment period is 60 days. If you would like to collect any of your unsold items, please do so on or before
the expiration date. If you do not reclaim your items, they become the property of LeBoutique.

  • You will receive 50% of the sale price, after a $1 item fee is paid by the buyer.

  • Our team of consigners will hang your items on store hangers, and price each item to sell. In order to remain consistent, LeBoutique does the pricing and will give special consideration to items of greater value.

  • There is a $1 selling fee incurred for each purchase of consigned goods. For example: Your item sells for $40.
You will receive $19.50 (half of the selling price, minus the $1 item fee). LeBoutique does not charge annual consignment fees, listing fees, pulling fees, or initial consignment application fees, as do many other resale shops.

  • To maximize payouts, we do not have automatic markdowns. We do, however, have occassional sales. At no time
will an unexpired item be discounted by more than 20%.

  • Items left unsold will eventually be donated to charity. LeBoutique can provide you with a list of donated items; however, please be advised that this may not meet IRS guidelines for claiming a charitable deduction. Strict interpretations of IRS regulations say that if you wish to claim donated articles as a tax deduction, you must retrieve these articles and donate them yourself. Added note: LeBoutique does not receive tax deductions as a result of donations to charity.

  • We adhere to our consignment schedule and staff our store accordingly. Consigners will be available only on designated consignment days (see above consignment schedule).

  • Use store credit, and receive 15% off your purchase!
